ASHP Foundation Offers Demonstration Grants
The ASHP Research and Education Foundation will provide demonstration grants to support research that focuses on pharmacists' roles in promoting immunization against seasonal influenza. Priority topic areas are
- Optimization of program structures
- Strategies to increase immunization of health professionals
- Strategies to increase immunization of high risk patient populations
- Patient identification and screening
- Collaborative practice models
- Health professional education
- Provision of literacy-sensitive education to patients and caregivers and
- Measures to ensure continuity of care.
Applications will be available on the ASHP Foundation Website on October 1, 2009. The application deadline is April 16, 2010. See the ASHP Foundation's Research Resources to begin planning for the development of your proposal!
